We want you to be happy with your purchase and your experience shopping with us. Whether you've already purchased, or are just browsing, we want to outline our return policies so you know what you can expect from us.

If you received an item that was delivered damaged or defective, or received an incorrect item, please accept our sincere apologies.

Refunds

 

We do not process refunds for all items purchased at the store, unless it is under special circumstances in which the final decision will still be made by Rivervale LED Lighting Corporation.

If your refund has been granted and processed, please note the following refund timeline:

It takes 2 to 7 business days to process a refund with Square (our provider).

Once the refund is processed and sent to your card's issuing bank, it can take another 2 to 7 business days (depending on your bank’s processing speeds) for the refund to be posted and reflected in your account.

In total, it can take 4 to 14 business days for you to receive your refund.

Make sure that this timeframe has passed before reaching out to your bank for clarification.

Please read through the following.

  • We encourage you to inspect your items immediately upon arrival. For packages damaged during shipping, we recommend taking photos and refusing delivery. If the damage is noticed after delivery, most shipping companies allow only 2 business days to make a claim for the damage.
  • Without exception, all purchases are final. No refunds will be issued.
  • To be eligible for store credit with us, you must bring the item back to the store in its original packaging, with its receipt within 14 days or purchasing the product, or within 14 days of receiving the product. The products must not have been installed, or used for installation.
  • No cancellations, or exchanges on special, customised, clearance, or on sale orders.
  • If you receive an item that is not what you purchased, please let us know, and we will replace it with the correct item at no additional cost to you when you pick it up from the store.
  • 50% deposit is required for special, and/or customised orders.
  • 35% restocking fees apply for all returned and/or exchanged items.
  • If you have any questions about, or issues using your items, please refer to the instruction manual by the manufacturer - before giving us a call.
  • To request a return, or an exchange, contact us via 1-718-886-9299, Monday to Thursday, between  9am to 7pm. Returns, and exchanges are subject to the approval of Rivervale LED LIghting Corporation
  • Rivervale LED Lighting Corporation's decisions are final in all related cases of disputes.

Returning or Exchanging a Non-Defective Item

We get it, sometimes you change your mind.

If you've purchased from us and decided you no longer want or like one or more of the items, please read the following.

  • Certain items can be returned within 14 days after receiving the item for store credit of the item's purchase price (not including any sales tax, shipping, or handling charges), minus a standard 35% restocking fee.
  • We will provide you with a return shipping label, at your expense (continental U.S. only), depending on the eligibility of the item for a return, or an exchange.
  • No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be granted for items which have been used, installed, or tampered with in any way that compromises our ability to remarket or resell the product. Rivervale LED Lighting Corporation maintains full discretion in decisions regarding a product's fitness for return, or an exchange.
    • Each item will be inspected upon return. Items that are not in new condition will be refused for a refund, return, or an exchange.
    • If an item is refused, you will not be issued a refund, return, or an exchange. You will have 7 days to alert us whether you would like us to return the item to you, at your expense, or to dispose of the item for you.
  • Items labeled as "Final Sale", “Sample”, on-sale, and/or customised are considered final and cannot be returned, or exchanged.

Items purchased under the Litesource brand cannot be returned due to buyer's remorse.

How to Make a Return

 

For items under the Elegant brand:

  • Request a return from the Past Orders area of your account page, or contact us.
  • We will issue you a Return Confirmation Number once a return has been confirmed.
  • Ship returning items back within 14 days of purchase to the address that our team will provide you.
  • Pack all items in such a way that they will not become damaged during shipping. Use bubble wrap, or foam.
  • Be sure to include your Refund Confirmation Number and/or packing slip, so we can accurately attribute your returned items.
  • Please ship with a carrier that provides tracking information, and insure the package for the cost of the item or items. Items that are lost or damaged in shipping will not be refunded.
  • Refunds will be issued back to the purchasing credit card within 14 business days of the item(s) arrival back at our appointed address.

 

For all other brands:

All decisions made by Rivervale LED Lighting Corporation are final.
